Hyderabad, Jan 30 (KNN)   In a move that is bound to boost investments, Telangana Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao has assured investors who are keen to start industry in the state that they would be granted permission to begin operations within 15 days.  In the event the government fails to meet the deadline, permission will be deemed granted.

Further, he said that the new industrial policy, giving right to permission to investors and industrialists, will be launched shortly, media reports said.

According to him the industrial policy which he considers among the world’s best would revolutionize the industrial system across the country.

The media report also quoted him as saying that a legislation, giving right of permission to investors, was passed recently in the state legislature but could not come into effect due to delay in allotment of officers to the newly-created state.

The new system, Rao said was akin to a self-certification system that would allow business to be conducted without obstacles while ensuring zero tolerance to corruption.

The Chief Minister also promised he would personally handover a package containing all clearances, permissions and approvals to set up the industry, as per media reports.  (KNN Bureau)
