Jaipur, Mar 15 (KNN) The third edition of the Global Textile Conclave (GTC) organised by the Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI) is all set to begin in Jaipur on March 15, 2023.

The theme for this year’s edition is ‘Strategies for Balancing Sustainability & Profitability in Textile Value Chain’.

Union Minister of Textile, Piyush Goyal will inaugurate the event in the presence of Minister of State for Textiles and Railways, Darshana Vikram Jardosh and Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.

The three-day event aim to discuss the business cases of sustainable production.

As per reports, to make GTC 3.0 more comprehensive, CITI is also organizing the first-ever edition of ‘India Textiles and Apparel Fair (ITAF)’.

During the course of the event, subsequent session will have micro-level discussions on topics such as Sustainable options in fibre value chain, Investment opportunities for sustainable units, Sharing global and local practices that promote responsible production and consumption, Discussion on technology that can support better material and water management etc.  (KNN Bureau)
