Thomas Fuhrmann is the new CEO of TUV Rheinland India

Bengaluru, Feb 23 (KNN) TÜV Rheinland India Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of the Germany based TÜV Rheinland Group pioneer in testing, training, inspection, consulting and certification, has appointed Thomas Fuhrmann as its CEO and Managing Director.
Fuhrmann will lead the management team in consolidating current operations of TUV Rheinland India and oversee speedy growth and expansion in the Indian market.
“I strongly believe that India is a very diverse and potential market; in fact we have invested more than Rs 100 crores in the past 3 years and will continue to do so. With the new government in place, which is taking numerous initiatives to boost the manufacturing and energy sector, I feel we can make a significant contribution towards the industry,” he commented on his new appointment.
Fuhrmann has been associated with TÜV Rheinland Group for the past 18 years and mainly responsible for the business development of industrial services as environmental and energy efficiency service, renewable energy service, material testing service, pressure equipment safety, elevator, conveyor, and machinery technology testing, explosion-protection equipment testing, functional safety service and supply chain service in greater China and Asia-Pacific.
"As a technical inspection company we need leaders with excellent technical expertise as well as managerial capability and Fuhrmann brings in his vast international experience with him.
