Training programmes on foundry, design of heating ventilation

New Delhi, Sept 23 (KNN) In an effort to train engineers for the construction sector to enhance employment potential, the MSME Technology Development Centre, Agra is organising a three day workshop on design on heating ventilation and air conditioning.

The training programme will be held from September-26 to 28 in Noida.

The three day programme will provide knowledge on real estate sector like residence, institution, office space, commercial and high rise and super rise construction and infrastructure. It will also cover infrastructure like metro-rail station, airports and highways.

The course content of heating ventilation and air conditioning includes topics such as air conditioning principles, psychrometry and preliminary AC load estimation, preliminary cost estimation and space requirements, concept of energy efficiency and plant room layout, concept of heat load calculation and heat load calculation of a sample building.

It also included principles of duct design, calculating duct size and AHU design, principles of chilled water system design, designing the piping system, principles of mechanical ventilation, fire regulations and their effect on design, estimate and tender philosophy including BOQ, continued and certificate distribution.

Further, the MSME-TDC is also organising a training course on recent trends in foundry and forging technology on September 28, 2014.

The course is meant for degree or diploma engineers and students of engineering or polytechnic colleges.  (KNN/ST)
