UC Mishra, Director, Prime Meiden Ltd is the new President of ITMA

New Delhi, Mar 1 (KNN) U.C. Mishra, Director, Prime Meiden Ltd has taken charge as the new President of Indian Transformer Manufacturers Association (ITMA), an apex industry body for transformer manufacturers in India.

Decision to this regard was taken at the Annual General Meeting of ITMA held on February 25, 2016.

Misra is an Electrical Engineering Graduate having more than 44 years of experience in power sector and presently holding the position of Director in Prime Meiden Ltd, a Joint Venture Company of Prime Group and Meidensha Corporation of Japan.

Misra is also the Chairman of Prime SD Engineering Consultants Ltd. Before joining Prime Group six year ago, he had also served as Chairman, Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) and as Director, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd under Government of India.

Misra is a Senior Member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) USA and has attended a number of International Seminars and Workshops including the Advanced Management Programme conducted by International School of Business, Kellogg (USA).

Established in the year 1979, ITMA, has in its fold about 250 members located across India. Before Mishra, Anil Aggarwal, Managing Director of PME Power Solutions (India) Limited was the President of ITMA. (KNN Bureau)
