Union Budget 2022-23: All Industries and Trade Forum disappointed with the Budget; calls it "purely directionless"

New Delhi, Feb 1 (KNN) The industry was expecting some major relief on direct taxes and also the simplification of tax structure but nothing of such kind was seen in the budget, said All Industries and Trade Forum (AITF).

The government failed to present a budget that could bring the industry out of recession and there was a need for policies that can help in improving the increasing unemployment rate, AITF National President, Badish Jindal told KNN India.

While speaking to the KNN India, Badish said the import duty on scrap was missed in the budget and nothing was announced for the MSMEs except for ECLGS loans. So we strongly oppose this budget as it won’t help in saving the sinking MSME sector.

He said it is a purely directionless budget.
