Hyderabad, Jul 13 (KNN) Praising the improved power situation in the state, the small and medium industries in Telangana have said the investments and expansions have started pouring in for the sector along with lessening the financial burden of alternate power arrangements.

According to the industrialists, there have been no unscheduled power cuts over the last six to seven months in the industrial areas.

The improved power situation has also sent out positive signals to other states and this is visible at various exhibitions and conferences.

President of Federation of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry, V Anil Reddy said that the sector is getting 24x7 power as the power situation has been completely sorted out.

He said the commercial sector is also getting good supply since the summer.

Over the last three years, many industrial units especially the smaller ones were dying and this had led to negative propaganda in other states, affecting orders. With the power situation improving, the scenario has changed drastically, he said.

Meanwhile investments and expansions have started pouring in for the sector.

The improved power situation has eased the financial burden of alternate power arrangements, cutting down on operating costs by 60 per cent or more. (KNN Bureau)
