New Delhi, Nov 27 (KNN)  To provide a framework to create sustainable corporate social responsibility (CSR) models focusing on sanitation services in the country, a workshop will be held here on December-5.

The key points that will be covered at the half day workshop organised by innovation services company Ennovent and GIZ include current innovations in the sanitation space, the challenge of scaling up and a road map to achieve India’s sanitation goals, an official release said.

“Progress in the field of sanitation requires strong, productive and committed partnerships. There is an urgent need for government agencies, corporates, NGO’s and other like-minded individuals to work hand-in-hand and bring about a more effective and efficient approach to achieving the goals of sanitation through convergence with CSR,” it said.

Participants will also receive inputs on how CSR can help overcome India’s critical sanitation challenges.  (KNN/ES)
