Yarn exchange startup ReshaMandi helps SME retailers to understand market better

New Delhi, Feb 10 (KNN) The sales team at ReshaMandi, a Yarn exchange startup is helping small, and medium enterprises (SME) retailers to analyse market and to understand how it is responding along with solving dead inventory problems which is one the biggest challenges faced by the retailers.

Currently the company claims to work with about 35,000 silk farmers and over 2,000 weavers and retailers majorly located in big cities such as Hyderabad, Kolkata, Delhi, Bengaluru.

The company is also in discussion with several global hedge funds to raise at least USD 100 million at a valuation of USD 600-700 million.

The capital received will be mainly utilized to expand the outreach to farmers, weavers and small retailers.

It also plans to give access and visibility to weavers and retailers on the product from a B2B perspective by creating large inventory to create an interface between the international and local buyers. (KNN Bureau)
