YEIDA to allot plots to non-polluting units

Noida, June 22 (KNN) Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has launched a scheme for allotment of industrial plots on lease basis for non-polluting units near Delhi-Agra Yamuna Expressway.

The Master Plan–2021/2031 of YEIDA in Uttar Pradesh was approved by the board of directors in its 47th board meeting.

Further, the area of allotted plots may vary at the time of handing over the possession.

The allotment of the plot is on ‘as is where is basis’ and on lease for a period of 90 years.

Moreover, Yamuna Expressway, formerly known as Taj Expressway, is a six-lane, 165 km long, controlled-access expressway, connecting Greater Noida with Agra in Uttar Pradesh. It is India's longest six-lane controlled-access expressway stretch.

The total project cost was USD 2.2 billion and it starts from Greater Noida and ends on National Highway two towards Kanpur and Agra.

Apart from providing a fast travel corridor between New Delhi and Agra, the Expressway opens up avenue for industrial and urban development of the region.

The Yamuna Expressway corridor has huge impact on the economic and industrial growth not only of Uttar Pradesh but adjoining states like Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Haryana in the coming years. (KNN)
