Zero permissions for 1st 3 years for new biz, Goodbye Angel Tax & Solid incentives: Rahul Gandhi promises start-ups if voted to power

New Delhi, Mar 30 (KNN) Ahead of General Elections 2019, Indian National Congress (INC) President Rahul Gandhi made slew of announcements via twitter to facilitate startups and entrepreneurs.

Sharing the sops through a twitter post, Rahul Gandhi said center would allow any person to start a business with nearly no government permission for almost 3 years, if his party is voted to power.

Besides this, he promised to remove angel tax imposed on startups and provide easy access to bank credit to facilitate business and startups.

In addition, he assured the youngsters to bring in solid incentives and tax credits based on how many jobs you create.

Talking about his future plan of action on twitter, Gandhi said “Want to start a new business? Want to create jobs for India? Here’s our plan for you: ZERO permissions for the first 3 years for any new business; Goodbye Angel Tax; Solid incentives & tax credits based on how many jobs you create and Easy Bank Credit.”

In another twitter post, Rahul Gandhi said “If voted to power, we will scrap the NITI Aayog. It has served no purpose other than making marketing presentations for the PM & fudging data.”

“We will replace it with a lean Planning Commission whose members will be renowned economists & experts with less than 100 staffs,” he added.

The Lok Sabha Elections 2019 will be held in seven phases, from April 11 to May 19, 2019 across India's 543 constituencies in 29 states and 7 Union Territories. (KNN/YV)
