AP Govt Partners With Aramex To Expand MSMEs’ Global Market Access

Amaravati, Jun 16 (KNN) The Andhra Pradesh government has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with international logistics firm Aramex to strengthen the state's export ecosystem, with an ambitious target of growing the number of exporters from 8,000 to 100,000 over the next 12 months.

The MoU was signed in Vijayawada in the presence of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at the Andhra Pradesh MSME Growth Summit 2026, ET reported.

The partnership positions Aramex as a logistics and export-enabling partner for the state, with a focus on helping micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) access international markets.

The collaboration will cover improving export readiness, expanding global market access, supporting cross-border trade and enabling first-time exporters through capacity building and market linkage support.

As part of its export promotion drive, the state government is setting up three Export Excellence Centres to serve as hubs where exporters can showcase products and access support across logistics, e-commerce, digital platforms and market access.

Percy Avari, India Head, Aramex, said, “By combining our international logistics network and cross-border expertise with the state's efforts to strengthen the MSME ecosystem, we aim to help businesses improve export readiness, access international customers and navigate the complexities of global trade with greater confidence,” as quoted by ET.

Aramex operates in more than 600 cities across 70 countries and provides international express, domestic express, freight forwarding and logistics services.
