Ludhiana, 14 Oct (KNN) The Customs Commissionerate, Ludhiana felicitated women entrepreneurs achievers for their excellent contribution in their respective fields on 12th October, 2021.

This event was organized to commemorate India’s 75th year of independence as ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, under Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs’ initiative.

Eminent achievers to whom honour was given include Rajni Bector Founder, Cremica Group of Companies, Ludhiana, Kaamna Raj Aggarwal, Director, GDPA Fastners Limited, Jalandhar, Meenal Dhiman, Director, Dhiman Foods Pvt. Ltd., Ludhiana, Mehakdeep Kaur, Export Manager, Man International, Ludhiana Mridula Jain, Managing Director, Shingora Textiles, Ludhiana and Sandeep Riat, Managing Director, Aka1 Springs Limited, Ludhiana.

They were honoured with Jute Bags having Khadi and Gramodyog products as momentos to create awareness about Mahatma Gandhi’s vision of Swachhta, AatmaNirbhar Bharat and Khadi.

On this occasion, it was impressed upon that women entrepreneurs hold the key to achieve excellent growth of Indian economy. Discussion also took place on strengthening of women’s empowerment and gender equality which is essential for the achievement of sustainable development of the country.
