UP Govt Scales ‘Blue Dots AI’ Platform Across 18 divisions To Boost Local Employment & MSMEs

Lucknow, Jun 22 (KNN) The Uttar Pradesh government has expanded its digital employment initiative ‘Blue Dots AI’ across all 18 administrative divisions, aiming to strengthen local job creation and support micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Vocational Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Kapil Dev Agarwal, inaugurated the state’s first Joint Facility Centre (JFC) in Muzaffarnagar, marking the rollout of the initiative beyond its initial phase.

Bridging Job Information Gaps

The platform is designed to address a common mismatch where industries struggle to find skilled workers while job seekers remain unaware of nearby opportunities.

Through ‘Blue Dots AI’, users can access job information via voice calls in local languages and view opportunities on mobile-based maps, enabling easier access to employment close to home.

Successful Pilot and Statewide Rollout

The platform was earlier tested in Ghaziabad as a pilot project, where it recorded over 16,000 job opportunities and more than 15,000 registrations within a few months. The results demonstrated the potential of digital tools and coordinated efforts in enhancing employment outcomes.

Integrated Support Infrastructure

The Joint Facility Centre in Muzaffarnagar will serve as a regional hub for coordination and service delivery. In subsequent phases, similar centres will be established across all divisions of the state. These centres will bring together institutions such as Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs), polytechnics, labour departments, employment exchanges and local MSMEs under a single framework.

The initiative is being supported by organisations including EY, EkStep Foundation and Head Held High Foundation, which are providing technical and institutional expertise in collaboration with the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission.
