33 firms from Kerala IT sector represented at Dubai's Gitex 2015

Dubai, Oct 19 (KNN) As many as 33 companies are represented in the Kerala IT pavilion, showcasing their products at Dubai's GITEX-Technology Week that was inaugurated by Technopark, CEO, KG Gireesh Babu on Sunday.

A media report quoted Babu as saying, “We have been coming to Gitex for the past so many years and have been showcasing the various IT destinations in the state. But for the last three years, we have been bringing home grown IT companies especially in the SME sector and showcasing their innovative products and services at the same time giving them an opportunity to interact with the international players”.

On Kozhikode Cyberpark, CEO Ajith Kumar said that India's apex IT industry body NASSCOM has identified it as a potential product destination.

GITEX is one of the largest technology events on the planet. Participation in this event will give access to over 130,000 technology professionals with real buying power.

Participants will be provided a platform to meet and discuss business with over 6,000 decision makers including retailers, wholesalers and distributors.

The Kerala delegation will also use the visit to meet up with prominent Non-Resident Keralites (NRKs) to talk to them about a wide range of investment opportunities that the state offers. (KNN Bureau)
