56 Intl delegates from 20 countries to interact with Mysuru MSMEs: MIA

Mysuru, Dec 27 (KNN) As many as 56-member international delegation from backward and developing countries will be visiting the city on December 28 to study total quality management, hand-holding facilities to industries, financial support to MSMEs by government and more.

Mysore Industries Association (MIA) said that the delegates are from 20 different countries and they would also visit JK Tyre Industry.

The delegates are from countries like Egypt, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Afganistan, Jordan, Uganda, Myanmar, Cuba, Tajikistan, Ethopia, Jimbabve, etc.

MIA said they are visiting Mysore to study the Total Quality Management, hand holding facilities to Industries, Financial support to MSMEs by Government and Role of Industries Associations in the development of Industries.

“This program is being organized by GOI under which training is being provided to these delegates from these countries. They will also interact with the office bearers of MIA and will visit JK Tyres Industry,” said S.K. Jain, Secretary, MIA.

Jain said the interaction with these countries will help MSMEs know better about the potential sectors in which they can explore business opportunities.

“By interacting with them, we will come to know about the industrial system of their countries and if we find anything beneficial for Indian MSMEs then we may adopt it,” said S.K.Jain. (KNN/RAS)
