Action to be taken if clearance delayed for industrial projects; Telangana govt for Right to Single Window Services Bill

Hyderabad, Aug 11 (KNN) The Telangana Government has plans to introduce the Right to Single Window Services Bill, under which, action would be taken if the projects are not given clearance in the specified time frame, according to the vice-chairman and managing director of Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TSIIC) Jayesh Ranjan.

While addressing a conference on manufacturing excellence here on Saturday, Ranjan said in the proposed industrial policy there would be provisions for projects to be cleared on self-certification.  

Ranjan also said that the MSMEs would be given higher incentives and packages, covering special technology development fund, panel of consultants for technical and managerial advices and sick units insurance fund, according to a media report.

He said that up to three lakh acres of land would be made available for industrial projects in the state with all infrastructure facilities and would be ready-to-use by industrialists. 
All issues pertaining to the land would be dealt with before allotment, he added.

Industries and commerce special secretary K Pradeep Chandra said the state government was planning to establish a Research and Innovation Centre of Hyderabad to strengthen the interaction between research institutions, educational organisations and the industry to get best results.

He said the proposed industrial policy would contain a lot of initiatives, including setting up of skill development centres within the industrial parks.

The conference on "Telangana - the next big opportunity; best practices from other states" was organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry in partnership with the state government. (KNN Bureau)
