Aide et Action holds workshop to train youths in Meghalaya

New Delhi, Mar 26 (KNN) With a view to support Human Capital Development in Meghalaya, Aide et Action, an international NGO that works for the empowerment of youth and children recently organized a training session for youths to facilitate entrepreneurship at Khasi National Dorbar Hall in Mawkhar on Friday.

The workshop, ‘Facilitating Entrepreneurship vis-à-vis Government Schemes for Promotion of MSMEs in NE India’, was organized with an objective of enhancing the employability of Meghalaya's youth.

The main objective was to make the 150-odd participants aware of the existing schemes, current opportunities and eligibility criteria for starting up ventures.

The Small Industries Development Bank of India participated as the resource agency.

Aide et Action International (AEAI) is an INGO founded in 1981 and presently it operates in 32 countries reaching to more than 3 million people.

It envisions a world where “dignity is ensured for all men and women through education” and its mission is “to make education a level for human development”. (KNN/YV)
