Vijayawada, July 23 (KNN) The Andhra Pradesh government is working on providing necessary business infra to all district headquarters to become an industrial hub by itself, said Minister for Industries Gudivada Amarnath.

Reflecting on the number one position held by the state in Ease of Doing Business ranking for the second consecutive time, he said this is a testimony of our commitment to promoting industrial growth by creating necessary infrastructure.

He was speaking at the CII Southern Regional Council meeting held in Tirupati on Friday.

Amarnath highlighted the exclusive policies evolved by the Andhra Pradesh government for Industry, IT, MSME and EVs, among others, which are all business-friendly.

The government wants to create an environment where businesses can be run hassle-free, he said. 

The Minister also informed that the State government will soon start the construction of a brownfield airport at Dagadarthi in Nellore. 

Logistics parks are being planned adjacent to several airports so that air cargo handling can be made easier.  (KNN Bureau)
