All Industrial clusters in MP to start by 2022: State MSME minister

Indore, Sept 4 (KNN) The government aims to start all industrial clusters in the state by 2022, said Madhya Pradesh MSME minister Omprakash Saklecha.

The minister while addressing a one-day workshop for local cluster developers and industrialists organized by the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Department of the government here on Friday, said, ''In order to encourage industrialists, efforts are being made to reduce the cost of production through cluster development in the state.''

Under this, various schemes are being run by the government to bring down the cost of energy, transportation, inventory, land etc, he added.

He also said that recycling is very important to reduce the cost of production.

“Through recycling, we can recycle the waste by industrial units and use it in the production. We have to make India -- the largest manufacturing country -- for which we have to establish such industrial units, which will reduce our imports and increase exports'', he opined.

The minister also said that under the `Aatmnirbhar Madhya Pradesh' scheme, the opportunities of employment prospects for the new entrepreneurs and youth are being doubled.

He said that Madhya Pradesh is the central state of the country and biggest strength is connectivity, adding, ''Our strategic location gives us the potential to become the production and logistics hub of the country''.
