Amul seeks suppliers of packaging material

Vadodara, Jan 6 (KNN) India's largest food retailing chain, Amul Sagar, with more than 6000 exclusive outlets in the form of kiosks in food courts, railway stalls and quick service restaurants among others, seeks suppliers of various packaging material.
Operated by the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), based in Anand in Gujarat, Amul is a state level apex body of milk cooperatives in Gujarat which aims to provide remunerative returns to the farmers and also serve the interest of consumers by providing quality products which are good value for money.
Amul now seeks reputed suppliers having in-house production facility of various packaging material suitable for milk and milk products such as thermoformed items, plastic crates, nylon barrier ghee film, refill cartons, corrugated boxes, tin containers, plastic barrels, wooden sticks, paper labels, stickers etc.
It is also keen to buy other items such as Annatto Butter colour, vitamins, dahi culture, butterscotch chikki, flavour, among others.
Products marketed by Amul include butter, cheese, ethnic sweets, milk, ghee, infant milk, milk powders, condensed milk, fresh milk, curd, ice creams, chocolate and milk drinks. (KNN/ES)
