Andhra CM interacts with industrialists, seeks feedback on policies

Amaravathi, July 4 (KNN) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu addressed an interactive session with industrialists from Krishna and Guntur districts to get feedback from them and ensure that industries are consistently growing and benefitting from the many policies launched by the state government.

“I am extremely happy with the way we have grown so far. With the many foreign tours, many networking sessions with international businessmen and launching of many policies for businesses, we are creating the perfect ecosystem for businesses to grow," Naidu said.

“We are working diligently towards a Vision. Our Vision is to ensure stabilised holistic growth and become number 1 in the world. In a phased manner, we will achieve 15% growth and compete with other states. We are number 1 in Ease of Doing Business and in the 3 Partnership Summits, we have signed innumerable MoUs. 18 departments are currently attracting investments under PPP models," added the CM.

He spoke about the various initiatives taken up to improve irrigation. He said that once the results of the Polavaram Irrigation Project and the Krishna-Godavari linking project can be seen, many regions up to Pennar will have water too.

He said that the government is working towards making every village connected by roads to improve logistics and connectivity.

He also added that the state has all basic infrastructural facilities to nurture business opportunities, including a power surplus.

“Through industrial corridors, many of which are still in the planning stage, our state’s central location will be capitalised on, and industrial activity will soar up exponentially. We are standardising and digitising most procedures and regulations, keeping in mind the impact on the environment also," said Naidu.

With a lot of hard work from our department, Kia Motors, Apollo Tyres and various huge investments have come to Andhra Pradesh. Each investment is a success story on its own. Telugu people have been dynamic and successful all over the world. We are professionals today, let us aim to become the best entrepreneurs too.”

The session was organised by Andhra Chamber of Commerce, and was attended by many members including MD of Efftronics, D. Rama Krishna, MD of Nalanda, A. Vijaya Babu, MD of Fortune Hotel, M. Murali Krishna and D. Nagendra Babu from DV Manor among many.

The Chief Minister shared the dias with Industries Minister Amarnath Reddy, Industries Secretary Solomon Arokia Raj, Industries Commissioner Sidhharth Jain, Principal Secretary G. Sai Prasad, APIIC Chairman Ahmed Babu, CEO of APEDB J. Krishna Kishore among other officials. (KNN/ MSRao)
