Andhra Pradesh readies for its MSME cluster near Amaravati

New Delhi, Sept 29 (KNN) Eyeing at boosting the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) sector in the state, Andhra Pradesh is gearing up for its MSME cluster near Amaravati.

To set the ball rolling, the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will inaugurate the construction process of over 75 industrial units at the industrial cluster near Amaravati on September 30.

The new MSME cluster is expected to provide employment to more than 2,500 residents of the region.

Also global investments as well as companies from other countries are expected to flow down to the cluster to take advantage of the favourable MSME ecosystem.

The MSME cluster program is to be implemented in phases. For the first phase, the State Government has allotted lands to set up the MSMEs. These MSME will specialise manufacturing in different fields including aerospace components, machine spares, home appliances etc. (KNN/ DA)
