Andhra Pradesh receives 340 investment proposals worth Rs 13 lakh crore

Visakhapatnam, Mar 3 (KNN) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday inaugurated the Global Investors Summit 2023 at Visakhapatnam.

Addressing the inaugural session, the Andhra Pradesh chief minister pointed out that the state has received 340 proposals with an investment of Rs 13 lakh crore, thereby providing employment opportunity to six lakh people across 20 sector.

As per reports, the investment proposals are from Reliance, Adani Group, Aditya Birla group, Renew power, NTPC and Aurobindo Group among others.

The chief minister said that Visakhapatnam would become the executive capital of Andhra Pradesh in the days to come and he will be moving over to the port city.

He further said that MoUs worth Rs 11.85 crore will be signed today and the rest would be formalised on Saturday.

The Global Investors Summit 2023 will conclude on March 4.  (KNN Bureau)
