Two textile powerloom units inaugurated in Anakapalli, Andhra Pradesh
Anakapalli, Nov 18 (KNN) The Andhra Pradesh deputy chief minister Budi Mutyala Naidu inaugurated two textile powerloom units at LN Puram in Cheedikada mandal of Anakapalli district on Thursday.
Addressing the occasion, Naidu said that Andhra Pradesh government was extending support for the establishment of the small scale industries across the state. He also pointed out that the Madugula constituency would soon be developed as an industrial corridor.
“Employment opportunities would be increased for the youth by establishing micro and small scale industries and we would continue to encourage micro and small scale industries in every constituency across Andhra Pradesh,” he said.
Speaking on the occasion, Anakapalli MP BV Satyavathi said, the powerloom units have been established at a cost of Rs 36 lakh and that they would play a significant role in employment creation for the people in rural areas.
MSME representative Nadiya and local public representatives were present during the inauguration of the powerloom units. (KNN Bureau)
