Amaravati, May 2 (KNN) The UAE Ambassador to India, Abdulnasser Alshaali on Monday met with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy to discuss potential investment opportunities in the state.

During the meeting with the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, the UAE Ambassador expressed the Gulf country's keenness to invest in several sectors, including food parks, food processing units, hospitality, tourism, ports, petrochemical complexes, green hydrogen, and infrastructure development.

As per a press release by the state government, Alshaali stated that Andhra Pradesh is considered a leading state for investment by the UAE.

CM Reddy assured the UAE Ambassador of his complete support and cooperation, which included providing information on the state's "transparent policies." He also highlighted that the state had well-trained human resources and robust infrastructure to offer.

The envoy and the CM also deliberated on the steps being taken by the state government on issues already discussed during an investment conference.  (KNN Bureau)
