AP CM reviews IT and Skill Development program, decides to set up 30 new centres in the state

Amaravati, Feb 18 (KNN) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy  has reviewed IT, professional development at CM camp office where it was decided to make AP as a centre for skill development.

The Minister on Monday also said that 30 new centers will be set up for the development of skill development in the industry. Reddy also ordered the establishment of 25 new centres, one each for the constituency of each parliamentary constituency, one for each of the four triple ITs and one for the Pulivendula JNTU.

Apart from these, Reddy also ordered the setting up of a High end Skill Center in Visakha, related to this to set up two other companies in Central Andhra and Rayalaseema.

He emphasized that the students who have excelled in engineering should be admitted to these courses to enhance their skills.

In this regard, the CM has ordered the officials to chalk out the strategy for the completion of land recognition and mobilisation of financial resources within 45 days. Industrial Minister Mekapati Gautam Reddy, Skill Development Corporation Chairman Challa Madhusudan Reddy and other officials were present in review meeting.
