AP govt seeks centre’s approval to establish 13 MSE cluster worth Rs 123 cr
Amravati, May 2 (KNN) The Andhra Pradesh government has submitted a proposal to the central government for the development of 13 micro and small enterprise (MSE) clusters worth Rs 123 crore.
The purpose of setting up clusters is to promote micro and small scale industries on a large scale in the state.
The clusters will be created under the Micro, Small Enterprise Cluster Development Program (MSE-CDP).
Proposals for the clusters, which will be developed on 2,111.59 acres, have been sent to the MSME DC office in New Delhi.
In form of grants, the state government will provide Rs 33.66 crore under its share, while the Center will provide Rs. 89.41 crore.
These MSE projects will cover areas of Hindupuram Growth Center, Guntur Autonagar, Machilipatnam Jewelery Park, Kurnool Industrial Park, Kadapa, Nadukudi Industrial Parks, Kanur, Ongole Autonagar, Nellimarla, Tanuku, Gajulamandyam, Rayachoti, Tirupati Industrial Parks. (KNN Bureau)
