AP MSMEs urge govt to resolve issues related to road connectivity to Pedagantyada Industrial Estate

New Delhi, Aug 20 (KNN) Micro, Small and Medium Entrepreneurs (MSMEs) from Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh have urged the concerned authorities to resolve the road connectivity problem to Pedagantyada Industrial Estate.

Due to bad condition of road and restrictions imposed on the movement of heavy vehicles, MSMEs have been facing major loss in their business.

At a meeting with the stakeholders, the entrepreneurs shared how restrictions imposed on plying of heavy vehicles for four and a half hours in three phases a day to facilitate easy movement of employees heading to Visakhapatnam Steel Plant and bad state of affairs of 200 ft road at Lankalapalem is impacting their business.

Raising the concerns, entrepreneurs said, “because of delays in movement of vehicles, their cost of business is increasing abnormally.”

They further added that the industrial estate is home to 225 units and another 200 are expected to come up near Gangavaram.

With no proper road connectivity, conducting business will become a challenge for industrialist, they added.
