Guwahati, Feb 21 (KNN) The two-day IndiGlobal Bharat Summit is all set to begin at IIT-Guwahati campus in Assam from February 27-28, 2023.

The primary aim of the summit is to provide a much-needed fillip to bolster the economy, employment generation, skilling, and overall development of the North East region.

It will serve as a common platform to discuss and deliberate on a wide range of issues, including skill development, food processing, new-age technologies, tourism potential, improving marketing linkages for the handloom sector, etc.

The summit is being organised by Media Network in collaboration with the Skill Employment and Entrepreneurship Department, Assam Skill Development Mission.

As per reports, the event will have panel discussions on topics such as health & well-being, industry & commerce, governance, tourism & hospitality, textiles & handlooms, education, skilling, and so on.

Officials from the Union Government, especially from the Union Ministry of Development of the North Eastern Region, would be present at the event, reported G Plus.

The summit will also witness high-level executives from Microsoft, Google, Cyient, the KIMS Group of Hospitals etc.  (KNN Bureau)
