ASSOCHAM supports Odd-Even formula

New Delhi Jan 2 (KNN) India Inc has hailed and supported the Odd- Even Formula rule for cars in Delhi implemented from Friday.
The president of industry body Assocham, Sunil Kanoria, has written to its members to support the initiative taken by the Delhi Government with an objective to curb pollution in the National Capital.
Assocham has asked its 1.28 lakh members in Delhi that under no circumstances should we let this programme suffer. The Businesses should facilitate to car pool, he added.
The women, who are exempted from the rule, should involve in the cause, said the association.
He said that companies should cut the office hours so that the employees can participate in the Odd-Even rule.
Today, only Even-numbered cars are allowed on the roads as part of a 15-day plan to allow private vehicles on alternate days. (KNN Bureau)
