Awareness Programme on support schemes for SC/ST MSMEs being held in Mysuru
Mysuru, Dec 10 (KNN) An awareness programme is being held in the city for SC/ ST MSMEs on various subsidies and support schemes provided by the government.
The programme, which is being jointly organized by District Industries Centre Mysore, National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC)-Bengaluru, Karnataka Small Scale Industries Association (KASSIA), Micro Small & Medium Enterprises Council, Mysore and MIA at the end of December.
“This Programme will also throw light on 50% Subsidy for Industrial Land & Sheds, Loan at the rate 5% maximum of Rs.1 Crore and NSIC Marketing Assistance registration at nominal cost of Rs.100 only for SC & ST Entrepreneurs” said Suresh Kumar Jain, Secretary, MIA.
The programme will be inaugurated by H.C. Mahadevappa, Minister for PWD & District Incharge Minister.
The main objective of the programme is to move a step further in development of SC-ST Entrepreneurship.
President of MIA, Vasu, will preside over the programme whereas senior officers of State and Central Industries department including Boards, Corporations and NSIC SC-ST Hub of government of India will explain various support schemes, Incentives, concessions, subsidies, marketing assistance and other facilities available for SC & ST entrepreneurs.
The association has called for SC/ ST entrepreneurs interested to participate in the programme. (KNN/ RAS)
