BBIA donates relief material for flood affected people of J&K

Jammu, Sept 15 (KNN) Even as relief operations are underway to restore communication and reconnect the valley a week after the devastating floods in Jammu and Kashmir, Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA) has donated various relief material to the affected people.
 
Relief material to include 1000 blankets, food packets, water bottles, biscuits, candles, clothes and other essential items were handed over to the Director of Industries, Jammu for onward dispatch to the different locations of the affected areas, an official release from BBIA said.
 
It said that many BBIA members came forward for help in the hour of crisis by way of contributions in both cash and kind.

Donors that contributed to relief material are Emcure Pharmaceuticals, Kashmir Ispat, Surya Biscuits, Saraswati Agro Chemicals, Nav Bharat Floor Mills, Kissan Milk Foods, Uflex, Jyoti Laboratories, Gulati Oils, Singer India, Hall Mark, Star Industries, Modern Paper, Pepsi, Shree Vaishno Flour Mills, etc.

President BBIA, Annil Suri, said that the industrial fraternity stands with the people of J&K in this need of the hour and has assured more contributions.

Others who have been a part of the drive for relief contributions are Senior Vice President, Rakesh Bhat, Vice President, Rahul Bansal, General Secretary, Lalit Mahajan, Treasurer BBIA, Sidharth Dogra, I P Singh of UFLEX along with Satish Kaul, Nazir Lal Pathan and Ashok Kaul of Emcure Pharmaceuticals Private Limited.
