BBIA Industry cluster to provide skill training to J&K youth under Strive Project

New Delhi, 22 Dec (KNN) Bari Brahmana Industries Association Industrial Cluster has started “Strive Project” under Ministry of Skill Development for training local unemployed  youths in different trades for which a grant of INR 100 Lacs has been sanctioned in favour of the BBIA Industries Association Cluster, said Lalit Mahajan Chairman Industrial Cluster.

“It is worthwhile to mention here that under the “Strive Project” apprenticeship training shall be provided by the industrial units in two years for  60  Local ITI passed diploma holders in the approved trade of Tailor General and Electronic Mechanics and 80 Youths of 10th Passed for the Trade of Packers and Printing and Packaging Operators with the three months training in the industrial cluster and later on they shall be provided opportunity to work as apprentices in the different industrial units as per the apprenticeship act and after the successful training the local youth shall be adjusted in the industrial units”, said Lalit Mahajan.

While addressing the trainees Lalit Mahajan highlighted the various benefits available to the apprentices after the success of the training as they will be employed as permanent employees in the industrial  units with the benefits of ESIC/Provident Fund  as per the Act.

Shiv Kumar Sharma, Member Secretary, Vivek Signal, Treasurer, Viraaj Malhotra, Ajay Gupta, Rishi Gupta Member Governing Committee, Vinod Jamwal, Rajesh Jain & Ajay Langer Member Goods & Procurement Committee also attended the Meeting.
