BBIA seeks issuance of procedural guidelines to avail reimbursement incentives

Jammu, May 27 (KNN) Jammu based trade body Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA) has urged the government to issue procedural guidelines with regards to a slew of reimbursement incentives issued by DPIIT on February 19, 2021.

During a meeting held today, BBIA and it’s members discussed the issue regarding the non issuance of procedural guidelines of reimbursement of capital investment subsidy, internet subvention on term loan, gross GST reimbursement on new units etc. 

The meeting was chaired by BBIA President Lalit Mahajan in presence of Tarun Singla Sr. Vice President, Ajay Langer Vice President, Viraaj Malhotra SG, Rajesh Jain Secretary and Vivek Singhal Treasurer BBIA, and other members. 

Members expressed their concern as the procedural guidelines are not yet notified by the DPIIT and is pending since the past one year.

Units have already started the production but not able to file the claims for the reimbursement of incentives, said BBIA. 

They have requested Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha and Principal Secretary Industries & Commerce Department Vivek Bhardwaj(IAS) to  take up the matter with Union Minister Piyush Goyal.  (KNN Bureau)
