The small scale industrialists from the Autonagar area of Belgaum had a meeting, earlier this week, with the President of Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB), K S Sharma to discuss their issues.

Puranik, who is an Executive Committee member of LUB-K from Belgaum and runs her own business in herbal products, had organised the meeting.

“The main demands of the entrepreneurs were to improve infrastructure of the industrial area with good roads, lighting arrangement, supply of water, bus facilities for workers to attend work on time, space for good canteen facilities,” said Ashok Puranik, Managing Partner at Kuteera Products and Garment Factory .

Sharma assured that he would discuss the issues with higher authorities and recommend solutions for the problems.
