Budget 2019: J&K MSMEs want business friendly environment in state

Jammu, June 28 (KNN) Since budget is around the corner, Jammu Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) want establishment of mother industries in the state to facilitate small scale industries.

Speaking with KNN India, Chairman of Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA), Lalit Mahajan said “There is a huge scope for setting up mother industry in the state which will further facilitate small scale units in the state.”

He stated “State is being discriminated in terms of setting up mother units as compared to other states.”

Besides this, he said that fiscal incentives should be extended up to year 2026 and funds should be extended for setting up industrial infrastructure in state.

On the other hand, Acting President of Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation said that the government should come up with the policies that bring cheers for the business community here.

Disheartened seeing the present status of trade in Kashmir, he also requested media not to spread fake news against Kashmir as tourism gets affected with such claims and thus trade.

He said “We want business friendly environment & happiness of all.”
