Business Association of Nagas launches district chapters in Nagaland
Dimapur, Aug 31 (KNN) With an aim to connect with local entrepreneurs in Nagaland, Business Association of Nagas (BAN) launched its district chapters in Tseminyu and Wokha on Tuesday.
Zukeya Woch and Thungdemo Kyong are appointed as district convenor of Tseminyu chapter and Wokha chapter, respectively.
The association has long felt the need for installation of district chapters so as to connect with Naga entrepreneurs throughout the state, reported Eastern Mirror.
The district chapters will comprise of five coordinators representing services, manufacturing, agriculture, education and trading sectors.
It had also organised a one-day entrepreneurship awareness programmes in the two districts in partnership with the MSME Development and Facilitation office, Dimapur and Ministry of MSME.
Speaking as the chief guest DC Tseminyu, Dr. Zasekuolie Chusi, said that he aspires the recently created district to be developed as a model district and a business hub.
He urged entrepreneurs to be responsible borrowers and repay loans on time.
Taliwati Longchar, Joint director, MSME-Development Institute delivered the inaugural address and presented the briefing on MSME schemes. (KNN Bureau)
