Canara Bank disburses Rs 403 cr loans to MSMEs under MUDRA, other schemes in Chennai

Chennai, Aug 1 (KNN) Public sector lender Canara Bank has distributed MSME loans to the tune of  Rs 403 crore under Mudra, Stand -up India and also some schemes of the bank at an MSME road show in Chennai earlier this week.

On this occasion a handbook on MSMEs was also released.

Debashish Mukherjee, Executive Director, Canara Bank , spoke about bank’s MSME lending portfolio and achievement of goals.

Abdul Ajees, General Manager, Chennai Circle , highlighted the importance of lending to the MSME sector and achievements of the Chennai circle under various schemes.
