Chambers, associations should co-ordinate for benefit of SMEs and employable youth: Guj CM

Ahmedabad, June 22 (KNN) Ensuring that Gujarat Government will leave no stone unturned to create an industry friendly environment, state chief minister Anandiben Patel said the chambers and associations should co-ordinate for the benefit of small and medium industries and employable youth of Gujarat.
 
Patel said this while conferring awards in various categories for the best Micro, Small and Medium Scale Entrepreneurs (MSMEs) and Gujarat Export Awards at a function organized by Department of Industries at Ahmedabad Management Association on Sunday.
 
Presenting the award to a woman entrepreneur for the first time, she expressed hope that more and more women will come forward in this field. She further stated that it is necessary to support and encourage women entrepreneurs for the balanced and sustainable development.
 
Mentioning about the organizing periodic open house and zone wise video conference for immediate solution of pending problems of GIDC, she shared that the state government is implementing various methods to ensure ease of doing business. She also talked about the online file tracking system being implemented at district headquarters for quick disposal of files.

She added that MSME are the backbone of economy and the state government is committed to support them with an aim to make them competitive at global level. She also stated that the state government will leave no stone unturned to create an industry friendly environment in the state.

On this occasion, the CM also talked about the importance of skill development and ancillary industries in the wake of upcoming industries in the state. She also suggested the chambers and associations to co-ordinate for the benefit of small and medium industries and employable youth of Gujarat. (KNN Bureau)
