CICU delegation meet Principal Commissioner, Ludhiana over GST concerns

Ludhiana, 17 Nov (KNN) A team of delegation from Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings (CICU) met Vikas Kumar, I.R.S. Principle Commissioner-GST, Ludhiana, to deliberate and discuss on various  GST related issues faced by business community.

The meeting was held on a cordial note, as Principal Commissioner Kumar appraised the CICU delegation in maintaining the Zero Corruption tolerance policy in the Department.

He expressed having same expectations from the delegation and trade industry, and has directed that any form of illicit activities must be brought to the immediate notice of the department.

Regarding risky exporter the Principal Commissioner told the delegation that, “I have already directed the department to clear the cases within 14 days deadline and in case any exporter fails to provide required documents within seven days to the concerned official it should be reported as Positive case,” said the release.  

The CICU delegation comprised of Upkar Singh Ahuja, President, Pankaj Sharma, General Secretary, CICU, Sarvjit Singh, Vice President, Gurmukh Singh from Oster Knit Pvt. Ltd, Naveen Kandhari from Vani Spinners met with Vikas Kumar, I.R.S. Principle Commissioner-GST, Ludhiana, to discuss various issues of GST faced by Business Community.
