CICU to set up Centre of Excellence offering various lab facilities

Ludhiana, Mar 9 (KNN) The Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings (CICU) is setting up a Centre of Excellence curated with lab facilities for new product development, digital lab and prototyping lab.

Its aim is to help the industry to develop enhanced quality new products in a short time, said S. Upkar Singh Ahuja, President, CICU while addressing the Extra Ordinary General Meeting of the CICU members.

He informed that CICU is currently working on creating a center of Apprenticeship, keeping in view the demand of quality skilled manpower in industrial sector.

CICU is signing MoU’s with top educational institutions to bridge the gap between industry and academia, stated Ahuja while sharing the details of the upcoming projects.

While addressing the gathering he expressed gratitude and honour to represent CICU as President.

“I am committed to deliver the best of services to CICU members as the scope of CICU has widened over time and more new members Pan India are joining with CICU,” he said.

The meeting was held on 7th March 2022, wherein over 600 members joined the meeting and appreciated the good work done by CICU for promotion of Industry in India and worldwide. (KNN Bureau)
