CICU trains 40 professionals with focus on communication skills for business growth

Ludhiana, Feb 28 (KNN) The Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings (CICU) has pressed on the significance of communications in the overall growth of a business and has trained over 40 professionals having different positions in their respective firms.

The Ludhiana based Chamber organized a training programme which explored the needs of industry such as communication skills for business growth and in order to strengthen their business relationships.

S. Upkar Singh Ahuja, President & Pankaj Sharma, General Secretary CICU jointly mentioned that with the world shrinking and business avenues opening wider horizons, there is an urgent need to re-look at the ways, which help to grow the business by good communication skills.

This training programme was conducted by Saloni Kaul, having an Award Winning Entrepreneur, HR Business Consultant and Entrepreneurship Coach with over 30 years’ global experience.

In a span of 2 days it covered topic such as Organization Communication skills, Understanding Barriers to Effective Communication, Confidence in Communication; Raising Self Esteem, Ground Rules for Productive Communication, Planning and structuring your communication, the 7 Cs of Communication, Understanding Para verbal & Non Verbal Communication etc.

It also included Email Etiquettes, Email Structure and components, Email subject line that accurately describes the content of the message, Composing Emails, Managing Emails, and others.

Professionals from industries including Owners, Executives and Managers attended the training programme and certificates were given to all the participants.  (KNN Bureau)
