CM Chouhan assures development of yarn and textile industries in Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal, May 31 (KNN) Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan told the industrialist that the state government guarantees to give its full support in the development of yarn and textile industries in the state.

During an interaction with delegation of industrialists of the state on Monday, he assured them that government would extend all possible support to develop yarn and textile industries in the state.

“Establishing new units will act as helping hand in creating job opportunities. The government will leave no stone unturned to deliver pivotal facilities for such units, he added.

Highlighting the ample scope for industrial development in tribal areas, he said that establishing new industrial units in areas with tribal population will enhance its economic background.

Informing about the proposed investment for production of cotton melange yarn on the land under Vidyamaan Textile Unit at gram Khal Bujurg in Khargone district, CM was apprised about its development.

Currently the production of cotton yarn and cotton fabric is underway and production of cotton mélange yarn will begin from July 2023.  (KNN Bureau)
