CM Mann promises to make Punjab best investment destination by improving EODB

Ludhiana, May 11 (KNN) In an endeavour to support the industry in Punjab, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has said that the State government will enhance ease of doing business (EoDB) and make Punjab the best investment destination in the country.

Presiding a meeting with top industrialists of the State, CM Mann welcomed feedback and suggestions for the development of Industry and business in the State.

S. Upkar Singh Ahuja, CMD New Swan Group and Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings (CICU) President shared his views on youth employment and skill development and he also raised the issue of industry in mix land areas.

Ahuja also urged the CM to resolves problems relating to building plan approvals, clearances from different Government departments and refund of SGST/ CGST/ IGST.

Anirudh Tiwari Chief Secretary to the Government of Punjab and in addition Principal Secretary, Department of Personnel, Vigilance and General Administration and other senior officials were also present in the meeting.  (KNN Bureau)
