CM Naveen Patnaik emphasizes MSME & Food Processing as focus areas of Odisha Govt

New Delhi, Apr 5 (KNN) Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has said that the MSME sector and Food Processing Sector are the focus areas of his government.

“Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are the focus areas of the State Government as the sector will play a key role in employment generation over the next decade. Young entrepreneurs should take ample advantage from the policies charted in the ‘ease of doing business’ agenda of the government and venture for start-ups,” he recently said.

He said while addressing an inaugural ceremony of a manufacturing facility of Anmol Industries at Chandaka Industrial Estate in Odisha recently.

The Minister further said that since Odisha is an agro-based economy, his Government lays huge emphasis on the food processing sector.

“This sector has an immense potential to generate employment and prove decisive in fructifying the target of three lakh jobs by 2025,” added Patnaik. (KNN/ DA)
