Country-specific benches to be set up under Tamil Nadu Guidance Bureau to attract investors

Chennai, Dec 30 (KNN) The Tamil Nadu Government is planning to set up country-specific benches under its Guidance Bureau. The move aims to give special attention to investors from different countries.

One nodal officer for each country will be assigned who will closely work with companies that have already invested in Tamil Nadu and also be instrumental in getting fresh investments into the State.

Addressing the sidelines of the Chennai Global Economic Summit 2019, the sixth World Tamils Economic conference in Chennai, Industries Minister M.C.Sampath said one IAS officer will be given charge of each country.

The Guidance Bureau, Tamil Nadu, which was constituted to bring major proposals into the State. It has has benches for Japan, Korea and USA.
