Firstly those who are already engaged in some nature of income generation activities will be helped to expand their work or establish more efficient business models, through additional support and guidance.

The second will be those women who may not be earning any income currently but are motivated to set up their own micro-enterprises.

As a partner, GAME will bring in effective collaboration within and outside the alliance and support capacity building, fundraising, partner identification and onboarding.

Speaking about the initiative, Ashwani Kumar Kansal, Registrar of DSEU said, “DSEU is committed to bridging the skill gap in the ecosystem, setting up global standards in entrepreneurial education. Empowering women through micro-entrepreneurship will surely transform the lives of not just themselves but also of their families and their communities.”

“The partnership with DSEU to build an exemplary micro-entrepreneurship model around the 120 Anganwadi Hubs of Delhi will be transformational not only for its direct impact but for its ability to be replicated across the country,” said Suresh Gundappa, CEO of GAME. (KNN Bureau)
