New Delhi, May 31 (KNN) In order to promote handloom technology the Delhi government has offered a yearlong diploma course in handloom and textile technology.

The course, under the aegis of the commissioner of industries, Delhi government will be conducted from July-16 at the Indian Institute of handloom technology.

The handloom and textile industry currently suffers from skill shortage. Though the national capital is a big market for handlooms, not much production exists in the state city.
