Delhi Govt to run 6 “GST help vans” and set up help desk stalls in commercial areas to help traders

New Delhi, July 14 (KNN) In order to help address the concerns of traders with the new tax regime, Delhi Government will run six “GST help vans” in commercial areas and will also set up help desk stalls in small markets.

In a tweet, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia informed today.

He said the GST help vans will visit different market areas of Delhi and help the traders with their queries and doubts

The government has also decided to set up help desks in small markets to help the traders there, he said.

The decision was taken after Sisodia, who also holds the finance portfolio, held a meeting with senior officers of the trade and taxes department on the implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST).

"Government officials will be appointed at these two facilities," Sisodia posted on Twitter.

He also said the Delhi governments GST facilitation centres addressed various issues of hundreds of people.

Sisodia said he thoroughly went through the GST Network website and found there are some loopholes, which he is hopeful that would get resolved soon. (KNN Bureau)
